Sportspeople are highlighted with asterisks. There doesn’t appear to be a canonical list of personalities and dates so this is a “best guess” in terms of chronological order. The only comment I can offer is the frequency of sportspeople appears to be increasing, and it would be nice if they profiled somebody non-sportsy like Dame Kate Harcourt, Sir Paul Callaghan or Tom Scott (who would probably hate the idea).

John Key: Yeah, it is, what happens is we have to choose, because the current Governor-General, Sir Anand Satyanand, his term finishes in the middle of next year.

PH: Is he even a New Zealander?

JK: Ah, yes, he’s a New Zealander.

PH: Are you going to choose a New Zealander who looks and sounds like a New Zealander this time?

JK: (interrupting) We could choose you

PH: (continuing) with someone who you look at, on a …

JK: (interrupting) I’m open to invitations

PH: (continuing) I’m going to tread very carefully here because I do want this job, not this time around, though. I appreciate, because I don’t want to spoil our friendship.
